January - Christian Unity Febuary - Missonary Nature March - The Churches in africa
That Christians may be aware that Christian unity enhances a more effective proclomation of the gospel. That the Church, missionary by its very nature, may strive to follow Christ faithfully and proclame His Gospel to all people. That the Churches in Africa may be signs and instruments of reconcilliation and justice in every part of that continent.


April - Persecuted Christians
That Christians persecuted for the sake of the Gospel may, with the help of the Holy Spirit, remain faithful witnesses to the love of God for the entire human race.
June - The Churches in Asia
That the Churches in asia, a "little flock" among non-Christian populations, may give joyfull witness to Christ and know how to communicate the Gospel.
August - Victims of Discrimination, Hunger and Forced Emigration
That the Church may offer an open door to any person suffering from racial or religious descrimination, hunger, or wars forcing them to emigrate to other countries.


May - People involved in Apostolic Work
 That Clergy, religious, and lay people involved in apostolic work may inspire thier communities to be engaged in mission.
July - A New Urban Culture
 That Christians, especially in large cities, may effectively promote education, justice, solidarity and peace.
September - The End of War
 That by opening thier hearts to ove, Christians may put an end to the numerous wars and conflicts which continue to shed blood in the world
October - Mission Sunday November - Mission in Latin America December - Opening Doors to Christ
That Mission Sunday may be a reminder that the task of proclaming Chirst is essential to the Church's service for the benifit of humanity That the Churches of Latin America be increasingly involved in missionary activities, as part of the universal missionary task of the People of God. That all peopls on earth may open thier doors to Christ and to His Gospel of peace, brotherhood and justice.
