Water Supply for the Diocese of Kitui

Funds here were used for building tanks for supplying ten kindergartens with potable drinking water. This project will provide two tanks for each kindergarten. Before, children were bringing water from home, while others went to nearby fountains where the water was not suitable for drinking. This in turn led to children getting sick with various waterborne diseases.

In total, 600 children have benefited from this project. 

The Bishop of Nyahururu

Money given to this diocese was used for funding of an Education Programme. This included food assistance, purchasing of books, uniforms, and payment of school fees. The parish this project took place in is located in a semi-arid area and families depend on others for food. The parish will provide for the basic needs of children first.
