The Diocese of Fade N'Gourma

The funds received from your organisation are a source of invaluable help for our young seminary, which is only eight years old. Indeed we still need some infrastructure to make this formation house to function in normal conditions. In addition, most of the seminarians here have poor parents who do not have the means to ensure the entire schooling of their children. This is why your contribution is most welcome. It substantially supports the effort of the seminary and the seminarians' parents. Therefore, it is on behalf of all the community of St Kisito's Minor Seminary that I give voice to our gratitude for your generosity towards us. The Diocese of Kaya

For this year, we have opened up the second part of the secondary school for scientific series. Two dioceses send their seminarians their form Kaya to pursue their studies. The SPA in Rome is helping us to build dormitories, the objective being to extend the seminary. So as an event, the Bishop came to celebrate mass and went to visit the build accompanied by the seminarians. This was met with great joy in the hope that our future here will be brighter. I would like to thank you in the name of all the priest-trainers of the Seminary for you act of Christian charity to us. May God bless you, all your assistants and benefactors who helped us this year. 

The Diocese of Koupéla

This academic year we had 154 seminarians. The year began in joyful climate. Sincerely we cannot tell you with simple words the great joy with which your gift fills us. It is very helpful, and surely it contributes to our further education. In the name of all the seminarians of Baskouré Minor Seminary, you receive our deep feelings of gratitude. We received the help you sent us for the training of novices. We're very committed! This assistance is of great importance to us. Today the training of a young aspiring religious requires more specialists, and ecclesial reality which requires a strong religious faith.

In Burkina Faso, religious congregations are common. Within a year, even novices live one week a month in the congregation. The funds are not a matter of indifference - we use them for travel, accommodation, catechists and staff, all of which need to be funded.

We bring you our sincere and deepest gratitude for this noble gift we receive from you that allows us to solve many social and economics problems such as inter-novitiate sessions, the cost of transport, catering, accommodation and facilitators, the different books for training and finally, medical costs. We are very grateful for you help contributing to the integral development of our institute. 

Little Sisters of the Holy Childhood

This contribution was for the seminarian's formation, which included activities such as bible studies, history of the church and congregation, psychology, liturgy, discernment, theology of religious life and vows, prayer, interfaith, and brief overviews of human rights. In Ouagadougou, we also put funds to use by providing supplies for hobbies, the most popular of which are sewing, knitting, dyeing, embroidery, livestock farming and farming.

Our Year 2 students also took part in pastoral care by giving catechesis in orphanages and disadvantaged people living nearby. We are very grateful for all your efforts and wish to extend a very sincere thank you; may the Lord bless you with grace.
