Solomon Islands

 The Archdiocese of Honiara

Holy Name of Mary Seminary

Greetings of peace and joy! As I conclude my seven years here at the Holy Name of Mary, I know that we heavily depend on the financial assistance usually coming from people overseas, who have generous hearts. I believe that without them, our formation to the priesthood would be very difficult if not impossible here on the Solomon Islands.

With this in mind, I wish to express my gratitude and appreciation to you dear benefactors of World Missions Ireland, for your continuous support towards our priestly formation here at the Holy Name of Mary Seminary. I, as a seminarian, wish to thank God for you, since you always include us among the many seminaries that you assist.

Here in the Solomon Islands, a third-world country, most of us really come from poor families. So without your valuable support, I feel that we could not fully respond to God's call. You are truly models of Christian charity for us. I hope that with God's grace and your assistance, our seeds of vocation would be fruitful a hundredfold in the future.

I wish you all the best in your daily activities, and may God's abundant blessings be always upon you all. Thank you. - Seminarian Malcolm Presley
